180 people were injured, some seriously, in Iranian missile strikes
Israel — At least 180 people were injured, some seriously, in Iranian missile strikes targeting two southern Israeli towns near a nuclear facility, according to Israel’s Health Ministry. The strikes occurred on Saturday evening, with 116 people injured in Arad and another 64 in Dimona.
The ballistic missile attacks were reportedly a response by Iran to an earlier strike on its Natanz nuclear facility. Despite the proximity of the strikes to the nuclear site near Dimona, the International Atomic Energy Agency stated that it was not aware of any damage to the research facility located approximately 13 kilometers outside Dimona.
On Sunday, Iranian missiles also targeted Tel Aviv.
